Don't let anyone tell you that you aren't good enough.

I am currently a software engineer with Vendor Registry building a platform largely focused on local government procurement and vendor management. I'm blessed to have been given the opportunity for creative freedom and the ability to continually tackle problems in areas where I knew very little about at the start.

At Vendor Registry I handle most of our infrastructure, DevOps and am the point person for our continually growing use of ElasticSearch. Touching many technologies, solving a number of unique problems and being apart of an extrememly talented and caring team is incredibly satifying!

I've earned an AAS in Computer Science from PSCC. I had never been to college until I started on this journey at the age of 31 and graduated with a 3.69 GPA. I was also awarded the "Outstanding student of the year" award for 2016.

I have received a lot of help during my CS journey and feel it is important to pay it forward. I was the president of AITP while in school and am still involved post graduation. I also perform workshops on various topics at the school as well.

I thrive on solving difficult problems with technologies I know nothing about. Currently, I've undertaken development using Powershell as I've become facinated with DevOps! I am also studying security both on a software and network level. There is never a shortage of opportunity to learn!

I encourage everyone to follow their dreams... I am following mine.
